Time for us to plant summer crops.

We will be putting out; squash, melons, okra, peppers, tomatoes, herbs, cucumbers, eggplant etc.

The grasshopper population seems to be coming out early this year and in great numbers. Be prepared for extensive damage from these critters this season.

The manure has been composted for at least three months and is read for immediate use in your garden. It is not “hot” like cow or horse manure and tends to not burn your plants. There is also some straw mixed into it.

The manure can be used on vegetable, fruit, flowers and herbs. It is almost odorless and beneficial for the soil.

We apply it before planting transplants at the rate of 1 cubic foot per 100 square feet.
